Simple offers cyber-security measures available to ensure that customers Funds are strictly protected. We regularly test and audit our security measures to ensure that they correspond to the highest industry standards.
Simple uses the following measures:
Website:
- HTTPS using SSL encrypts all site traffic;
- Hashed and encrypted passwords, with encryption on all sensitive data;
- Distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack protection with Cloudflare;
- Ongoing and consistent security updates and checks;
- Regular security assessments and patches to stay ahead of potential vulnerabilities.
Mobile app:
- Two factor authentication for account security, login and withdrawal, preventing unwanted third party access to user accounts;
- Assets are held in cold storage using multisig technology;
- Hashed and encrypted passwords, with encryption on all sensitive data;
- Distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack protection with Cloudflare;
- Ongoing and consistent security updates and checks;
- Regular security assessments and patches to stay ahead of potential vulnerabilities;
- Encrypted data storage;
- All commands are signed with a key stored on the device;
- Protection of the customers account during critical actions.
Two Factor Authentication
Dual authentication, also known as 2FA or two-step verification, is an industry-standard authentication scheme that makes users provide two separate authentication factors before allowing access to accounts. This is far more secure than simple password protection, and can be set up easily in minutes
